PEACE POLE IS RAISED AT THE TEACHING GARDEN

 

The All Together! Friends recently gathered at the Teaching Garden to create a living art installation by painting a Peace Pole.  The pole, which declares their commitment to friendship and harmony with all people, has been raised in the pollinator garden the group already established at the site.

 

All Together! Friends is a collaborative providing social support for their members and care providers. A group of adults with and without disabilities, they share companionship and seek to raise community awareness about their abilities.  The group, which welcomes new members, is being assisted by members of the NC State Master Gardeners.
