A Chatham Alliance Milestone Reached

Chatham Alliance is grateful and proud to have celebrated the milestone of serving the 100,000th entree to our neighbors since our first distribution in August 2021. Our initial team of three churches and a restaurant started with hopes of serving up to 200 entrees per week. Our goal was to work together, share the load and try to lend a hand to all that could benefit from our service.

This milestone has been made possible because churches, restaurants, affiliates, volunteers, youth groups, social service agencies, food and financial donors, and an exceptional Board of Directors have committed to and continue to work together towards one common goal of building a more connected and united community.

Chatham Alliance leaders would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all who show love and commitment in providing this service to one another. Thank you!

"I'm honored to have been the 100,000th meal that was delivered by Chatham Allliance and Chatham Chuckwagon.  Chuckwagon is very special to my family.  It's not just a way to help alleviate the challenge of an ever-increasing grocery bill.  It's a stress free dinner when everyone is exhausted from the day but still going a hundred miles an hour in different directions.   It's a smile on my child's face when I bring home a sweet.  It's a smile on my face when I see my friends every week and we talk about what's going on in our lives.  Chuckwagon brings us together as a family and brings us closer to everything good about Chatham County.  I'm forever thankful for it!"
